About me
My name is Nikoletta. I am originally from Hungary and have been living in The Netherlands since 2015.
I am neurodivergent myself, and both personally and professionally I understand how exhausting it can be to live in environments that do not match the way your brain and nervous system function.
For the past years I have worked closely with people experiencing trauma, emotional overwhelm, overstimulation, masking, chronic stress, burnout, nervous system dysregulation, and difficulties navigating everyday life.
Previously, I ran my body-oriented therapy practice called Soul Trusting Touch in Groningen for six years.
In that practice I worked with:
- bodywork
- massage therapy
- somatic psychotherapy
- meditation
- nervous system regulation
- trauma-informed support
Over time I realised that supporting neurodivergent and traumatised individuals in a more practical and day-to-day way was where my heart naturally moved toward.
That is why I continued specialising in:
- Somatic trauma therapy
- autism guidance
- ADHD coaching
- social care support
- begeleiding within the Dutch healthcare system and thuiszorg
At this moment I also work as a begeleider within the thuiszorg and I am studying Persoonlijke Maatschappelijke Zorg Begeleider at Noorderpoort while continuing my education in autism and ADHD coaching.
My work is not based only on theory or education.
It is also based on lived experience.
I know what it feels like:
- to become overstimulated easily
- to need days to recover after social situations
- to struggle with group dynamics
- to feel emotions intensely
- to mask in order to feel accepted
- to constantly try to be “normal enough”
But I also know how life-changing it can feel when someone finally understands how your system actually works.
Learning more about my own neurodivergence helped me slowly build accommodations, emotional regulation skills, structure, and coping strategies that supported me instead of forcing me to constantly fight against myself.
That journey deeply influences the way I support others.
I am someone who values:
- honesty
- safety
- warmth
- direct communication
- body intelligence
- autonomy
- intuition
- humor
- emotional depth
- freedom in choice
- human connection
I believe people deserve support that allows them to become more themselves instead of less.
