Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?
No. You do not need an official diagnosis to contact me or receive guidance. Many people already know they struggle with overwhelm, emotional regulation, structure, trauma, ADHD or autistic traits without having access to formal diagnosis or support yet.
Where can we meet?
Sessions can take place:
- online
- at your home within Groningen
- outside of Groningen with additional travel costs per kilometre
Together we look at what feels most comfortable, practical, and accessible for you.
What do I need for a session?
Nothing except yourself. If we meet online, it is helpful if you have:
- a webcam
- microphone
- stable internet connection
- Zoom or WhatsApp
You do not need to prepare perfectly before sessions.
Which languages do you speak?
I speak fluent Hungarian, very good English, and Dutch. Sessions can take place in the language you feel most comfortable with. Sometimes I naturally mix English and Dutch depending on what feels easiest and most expressive during conversation.
How can I pay?
Payment is possible through:
- bank transfer
- betaal link
Is the session covered by PGB or insurance?
At this moment sessions are not yet covered by insurance or PGB. I am currently busy learning and navigating the Dutch healthcare and begeleiding system to explore future possibilities.
What can I get support with?
I offer guidance and support with topics such as:
- ADHD and autism
- emotional regulation
- overwhelm and overstimulation
- trauma-informed support
- daily structure and routines
- executive functioning
- social situations
- boundaries
- self-image
- relationships and intimacy
- burnout and exhaustion
- practical life guidance
- nervous system regulation
What does a session look like?
Every session is different because every person is different.
Some sessions are practical and focused on structure, systems, or taking action. Some are more emotional and reflective. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we roleplay situations, build routines together, regulate the nervous system, or look at practical accommodations that can make life feel more manageable.
My guidance adapts to the person instead of forcing the person to adapt to the guidance.
Is your guidance neurodivergent friendly?
Yes. My practice is specifically created with neurodivergent and trauma-informed support in mind.
Masking, sensory needs, emotional overwhelm, communication differences, executive dysfunction, needing extra processing time, or struggling with structure are not judged here. Together we look at what genuinely works for your brain, body, and nervous system.
Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Cancellation Notice
Please give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This gives the opportunity for someone else to use that session time.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the full session cost.
No-Shows
If you forget or choose not to attend your appointment without communication, it will be considered a no-show and the full session cost will be charged.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened in order to respect appointments scheduled after yours. Depending on how late you arrive, I will determine whether there is enough time left to continue the session.
The full session cost still applies.
Please try to arrive on time out of consideration for both yourself and other clients.
I feel nervous about reaching out. Is that okay?
Yes, completely.
Many people who contact me feel anxious, ashamed, overwhelmed, uncertain, or afraid of being misunderstood. You do not need to have the perfect words before reaching out.
You are allowed to ask for support exactly as you are.
